AUTHORITY

Mark 3

     In chapter 2 Jesus had already established that the Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath.   Now in chapter 3 He goes ahead and heals IN the synagogue And ON the Sabbath while his accusers were closely watching.

     Later vs 13 - 19 Jesus appointed the twelve to preach and have authority to drive out demons.   How great is the grace of God to bestow this authority on these men. The scripture lists them by name not only were they not born again ( as this was not available yet), but also included in this group was Judas Iscariot, the betrayer.  Who knows how many lives he may have touched for good, before his ultimate betrayal.

     As the scriptures say " God is love" .  His will is for all to be saved.
