JOHN 16 --- JESUS INSTRUCTS HIS DISCIPLES

John 16:28-31

(28) "I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father".

(30) The the disciples told Jesus "Now you are speaking clearly........This makes us believe that you came from God."

(31) "You believe at last!" Jesus answered.

This conversation took place after Judas had left to betray Jesus. I wonder if this absence of malice needed in order for Jesus to speak plainly to His chosen ones; and that they were able to accept what Jesus was saying.

Sometimes we must get away from the "malice" and the worldly way of thinking in order to accept what the Word is saying to us.
