LEGACY

Inspire to inspire to inspire to inspire.

A true legacy must truly live forever. The legacy is not what one was inspired to do. The legacy is the inspiration.

Inspire others to inspire others to inspire others . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

THE LIGHT

Jesus is the light showing us the way to God (the Father, our Creator). The world is full of darkness.

Have you accepted Jesus as the Lord of your life? Does Jesus live in you? If so, do not turn your light off to compromise with darkness.

Do you really want to deny or turn your back on what Jesus said, just to be in agreement with what is popular, or what some "worldly role model" is saying?

Think about it.

JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA AND NICODEMUS

John 19

Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus were both afraid to be seen with Jesus. They would only come to him under the cover of darkness to hear him.

When Jesus died on the cross, Joseph went to Pilate to ask for the body. Nicodemus carried 75 lbs of myrrh, aloe, spices and linens. And, they hurried to bury Jesus before sundown.

JESUS CLEARED THE TEMPLE!

John 2:12-18

Today kids in grade school are assigned a paper doll named Flat Stanley. It is a lesson in letter writing, where they mail Flat Stanley to distant relatives. The relatives in turn take a picture of Flat Stanley next to some point of interest and mail him back to the student showing where he had been and what he had done. JESUS WAS NO FLAT STANLEY!!

"Merchants" and "bankers" were in the temple making a profit off of animals being sold for sacrifices. (aside here about who profited off of the utlimate sacrifice?) Anyway-----Jesus seeing all this was so upset he turned over the tables, spilled their money, and ran the animals out of the temple!

This was a BIG deal. This would have made the newspapers, maybe even CNN, if not FOX News! The disciples probably discussed this at length before they ever actually voiced the scripture in vs. 17 "Zeal for your house will consume me." Ps. 69:9

The Jews had discussions in their circles around town and in the temple, too, before they went to Jesus demanding what His authority was for doing these things.

Jesus was not a Flat Stanley merely propped up against a backdrop getting his picture taken. Jesus really was at these places. Jesus did do all the miracles that were written about Him. Real people, even worldly people, saw Him and touched Him.

Jesus, the Son of God.
